Due to many who have taken advantage of me in this regard, I have no choice but to enforce my cancellation policy. That time is reserved specifically for you and when you don't show up, that is time and money wasted. It could have gone to someone else. First time offense is 60% of the appointment. Anytime after that is the full amount of the service and forward on. What counts as a cancellation? You have 12 hours to cancel your appointment if you cannot make it. Most require a 24 hour cancellation, but things happen. In doing so, you will not be penalized. This gives me plenty of time to fill the slot for someone else. If you do not cancel within the 12 hours, that is considered a cancellation. If you do not show up within 15 minutes after your appointed time, that is considered a cancellation.
